After watching him, I now realize the "frantic" movement I always mistook for something tragic happening was actually the "moro" reflex. :)Good Egg Hatchedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06329661201337433257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2701294853944479424.post-76739264518593558072010-01-24T11:09:55.965-08:002010-01-24T11:09:55.965-08:00LOL. Get ready! haha.

Thanks for the comment. I didn't know this but they make side car type co sleeper things if you ever need them. Way to go, babies!

I have to say that I'm really looking forward to being at the point where I have some reminder of the presence of these babies, other than my ever-expanding waistline and inability to sleep through the night... And I'm definitely looking forward to H being able to feel movement as well. Sigh.

All the same, I am SO GLAD that your babies decided to give you some reassurance. Woohoo, babies!katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08056463808792013011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2701294853944479424.post-18137399658248215852010-01-17T16:47:08.329-08:002010-01-17T16:47:08.329-08:00If it makes you feel any better, I was pregnant wi...If it makes you feel any better, I was pregnant with a singleton and he moved very little towards the end. I was on the verge of calling my OB many times. Although he wasn't a huge baby, it turns out he was in the 97% percentile for length at birth, so it must have been very crowded in there for him.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08188110112312139648noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2701294853944479424.post-51592592882786724412010-01-17T12:04:54.116-08:002010-01-17T12:04:54.116-08:00If our journeys could only be filled with bliss an...If our journeys could only be filled with bliss and not worry, but unfortunately that comes with the territory.

Sounds like the wee ones are going to be acrobats! And...You are most certainly not crazy or paranoid! And if you are, count me in as a passenger in your car, sistah! I was unable to get time on my laptop yesterday to reassure you, but was thinking of you many minutes of it, trust me!

As you get closer to the end, esp. with two babies baking in there, there will be less room, and thus less "big" movements. And when you have a busy day, you honestly notice less movement - I never believed this to be rue, but it has happened to me, where I am thinking about other things, or the movements are now not so unique and new, and I just don't notice as much.

I was considering writing a similar post as yours . . . lately I am obsessed with Urban Myth coming out in two pieces. Seriously. Urban Myth sits so low, and likes to lay sideways, so when I have to get up off the couch or bed, I swear I am twisting her in half, and hurting her. LIKE I AM TERRIFIED THAT I AM CAUSING HER SOME SORT OF GIANT INJURY THAT WILL CAUSE DEATH OR DISABILITY!!!

Dr. J continually reminds me that the amniotic sac/fluid is a huge protectant against that sort of thing, and tells me about two of his more recent patients, both of whom FELL on their pregnant bellies in the final month of their pregnancy, and both of their pregnancies continued, and the babies were fine.

Still, I have these awful visiions, ya know?!Ms. Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04734867984972785143noreply@blogger.com
