Update: Tentatively Optimistic

You've all been so incredibly sweet to me. Thanks so much. It was such a relief to be able to sit down to my computer at 4 a.m., mid-panic-attack, and bang out my hysteria into blogland, knowing that someone out there understands. Again, thanks.

Quick update: Even after both my nurse and RE said they didn't think my pill debacle would be a problem, I've been pretty worried. Now, three days later, I think it's going to be all right. I did have a full day of pretty heavy cramping on Tuesday, but that seems to have eased off as well. Not a hint of blood, thank god.

So I appear to be back on track. Can't write more (as I'm at work), but I finally felt it was safe to add this update without tempting Fate. (I know, I know, it's bizarre to not believe in God but to worry about fate, but who said I had to be rational all the time?)

Glad to hear things are still moving along -- and (most importantly) that you are okay.

If I had a nickel for every 4 am panic attack I've had to talk myself out of... I'd be a rich gal.

Take care!

Glad to hear that you're feeling better. Yes, the Internet is a wonderful, wonderful thing to connect us as easily as it does (I say from my kitchen in California to a woman in Maryland as though you lived next door...)

Woohoo! I'm glad you're feeling better. And I totally understand the reliance on fates when one doesn't necessarily believe in a higher God and the conundrum that it can cause.

And YEAH. The internet is AWESOME for pounding out one's fears and hoping that someone else understands.

I admit, I've been checking (a few times) daily for updates. Glad it's all OK.

Good. Glad this isn't going to throw a major wrench in the works.

May fate be kind (we all have an inner pagan in there somewhere...)!

Whew-I'm glad everything is okay and you've gotten the all-clear to move ahead!

Let's consider this a sign from the fates that this will be a good cycle!

I'm so glad things are back on track. And glad you felt understood and supported - that's so huge, isn't it?

As for rationality, I think it's highly overrated.

I just came to your blog today (from Stirrup Queens) and wanted to say I'm so glad the cycle seems to be a go. That must be a huge relief. Thanks for sharing your story--it helps me to read blogs like this.

Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you...

Glad to hear that you're hanging in there, and it looks like things are going to be OK for this cycle.

Sending you all good thoughts.
